Our research group focuses on understanding chromosomal dynamics in the context of DNA recombination and segregation during cell division. We study this in fission yeast as an experimental model.
Why am I a part of this group?
The idea of connecting with like-minded individuals and creating a safe space to discuss challenges and share experiences was the main motivation of being a part of this group. I would love to support and help other women in STEM who may need mentorship, in any way I can, based on my experiences and contribute to this larger movement of generating a more inclusive and equitable scientific research community in the future.
