As a retired scientist, I teach immunology to BS-MS and doctoral students at IISER, Pune. Earlier I pursued research in basic and infectious disease immunology while working at the National Institute of Immunology.
Why am I a part of this group?
With the perceived need that women scientists in Biology need to come together to provide solidarity, support and mentorship to each other this group was formed. In future with a strong voice of women biologists in senior positions, positions of power I visualise that they will demand equity at workplace and get it. I support this vision very strongly.
