Women for Equity in Research in Biology
Partnership of Women for Equity in Research in Biology or POWER Bio is an initiative that aims to bring together like-minded women scientists from across India working in Biology and allied areas, to work towards issues pertaining to inclusivity, representation and success of women scientists in academia. We aim to build a community that will not only support individuals, but also create a ripple effect in changing institutional and societal norms that would promote the functioning of women to their fullest potential in academic settings! Through this endeavour, we aim to enhance the field of biology in India by promoting diversity and equity while supporting the goals and activities outlined in the "Activities" tab.
